Privacy Policy for DanaPerdana

DanaPerdana is a mosque community and welfare fund management application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect user information.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

• Full name
• Identity card number
• Phone number
• Email address
• Home address
• Member registration information
• Family member information
• Profile photo, if uploaded by the user
• Payment and contribution records
• Device notification token for push notifications

2. How We Use Information

The information is used to:

• Manage mosque member registration
• Manage welfare fund participation
• Process registration fees and contributions
• Generate receipts and financial records
• Manage donations, meetings and community activities
• Send important notifications to users
• Improve application security and reliability

3. Photo and Camera Access

DanaPerdana may request camera access only when users need to capture or upload images such as profile photos, payment proof or related documents.

The app does not require continuous or broad access to the user’s photo or video library. Image selection is used only when the user chooses to upload an image.

4. Notifications

DanaPerdana uses push notifications to send important updates such as payment reminders, application status, approval notices, meeting updates and welfare fund announcements.

5. Data Storage and Security

User data may be stored securely using cloud database and storage services such as Supabase and related application infrastructure.

We take reasonable steps to protect user data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell user personal information. Information may only be accessed by authorized mosque administrators, committee members or system administrators for operational purposes.

7. Data Retention

User data may be retained as long as necessary for membership records, financial records, audit purposes, legal compliance or mosque administration needs.

8. User Rights

Users may request to update, correct or review their personal information by contacting the mosque administrator or DanaPerdana support.

9. Children and Family Members

DanaPerdana may store family member information for membership and welfare fund purposes. Such information is managed by the registered member or authorized mosque administrator.

10. Compliance

DanaPerdana aims to handle personal data responsibly and in line with applicable privacy principles, including Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act where relevant.
